Job summary

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Low-Voltage Cable Installer Helper to assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and organization of low-voltage systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to start a career in the low-voltage or electrical trades. On-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with pulling, routing, and securing low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, fiber)
  • Support installation of data & voice cabling, security cameras (CCTV), access control, fire alarm, and audio/visual systems
  • Help mount equipment, racks, and cable pathways
  • Label, terminate, and test cables under supervision
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Follow all safety procedures and job site rules
  • Transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • No prior experience required — we are willing to train the right person
  • Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders
  • Comfortable working in ceilings, crawl spaces, and construction environments
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
